Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)
TRE® is a groundbreaking series of exercises designed to safely activate the body's natural tremoring mechanism. This innovative approach helps release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma through controlled, involuntary tremors, providing a gentle yet powerful way to restore balance to the nervous system.

How does it work?
TRE works by activating the body's natural neurogenic tremors - an innate mechanism for releasing tension.
Through a sequence of simple exercises that mildly fatigue specific muscle groups, the body begins to tremor naturally.
These tremors originate in the deep muscles of the pelvis and can travel up through the body, releasing tension patterns held in the muscles and fascia.
This process helps discharge accumulated stress and traumatic energy stored in the body, allowing the nervous system to return to a more balanced state.

Backed by science
Research published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress shows that neurogenic tremors play a crucial role in releasing tension and trauma stored in the body.
Studies have demonstrated that TRE can reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and chronic stress. Clinical observations documented in the International Journal of Stress Management indicate that regular TRE practice leads to improved emotional regulation, better sleep quality, and reduced muscle tension.
The effectiveness of TRE is supported by our understanding of how the nervous system processes and releases trauma through physical mechanisms.

Benefits of (TRE)
TRE has shown promise in:
- Releasing chronic tension and stress
- Reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression
- Processing trauma stored in the body
- Improving sleep quality
- Enhancing emotional regulation
- Reducing muscular pain and tension
- Supporting nervous system regulation
- Increasing body awareness
- Promoting physical resilience
- Facilitating emotional processing
Integration with other modalities
Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) is most effective when combined with other approaches to nervous system regulation. We integrate neurofeedback with various other modalities to create a comprehensive approach to mental and physical wellbeing.

Sympathetic Dominance Protocol
A psychosomatic stress reduction method that combines various modalities to identify and remove emotional blocks that express as physical symptoms.

PEMF & Infrared
Muscle relaxation, improved circulation and ion transportation to stimulate the body's natural recovery process.

Photobiomodulation
Red light and Near Infrared Light of specific wavelengths interact with the mitochondria to boost ATP production (more energy).

Cold Thermogenesis
Nervous system regulation training and helps to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and improve immune function.

Gut Healing Protocol
Reduce harmful bacteria and parasites, heal the gut lining and encourage growth of beneficial bacteria to boost the immune system and gut-brain connection.

Anti-Inflammatory Diet
A diet and supplement protocol designed to reduce inflammation, reverse deficiencies and boost neurotransmitter production.

Heart Rate Variability Training
Up-train the parasympathetic state to lower the baseline of stress, reduce overwhelm and enhance recovery and emotional regulation.

Bodywork
Boost parasympathetic response, reduce tension, improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Art & Cooking Classes
Encouraging creativity, authenticity and play. Classes include painting, macrame, chocolate-making and a Mexican cooking class.

Breathwork
Breathwork can elicit the parasympathetic nervous system response and, in some cases, euphoric or insightful experiences.

Drop-in therapy
Bite-sized sessions with a certified mental health professional to practice emotional processing as the opportunities arise.

Functional Movement
With resistance to improve muscle tone and coordination, mitochondrial function and neurotransmitter production.

Nature therapy
The healing effects of nature; grounding and negative ions from waterfalls, beaches, jungle with low-impact, endurance exercise.

QEEG & Neurofeedback
Brain mapping to measure and assess electrical activity, followed by directed Neurofeedback to improve brain function.

Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)
Restore the body's natural mechanism for releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.

YOGA & Working-in
Integrate mind, body and energy, improve mood, reduce stress and build strength, flexibility and balance.

Compression Suit
To improve circulation and lymphatic drainage to get rid of cellular waste and enhance regeneration.

Temazcal
An ancient Mesoamerican ritual using heat, steam, herbs and chanting for purification of the mind and body.
