Cold Thermogenesis
Cold exposure therapy through guided ice bath sessions is a powerful practice that triggers a cascade of beneficial physiological responses in the body. This controlled stress on the system helps train nervous system regulation, boost metabolism, and enhance resilience through intentional exposure to cold temperatures.

How does it work?
When the body is exposed to cold temperatures, it activates the sympathetic nervous system as a natural survival response.
Through guided breathing and mindfulness techniques during the session, participants learn to consciously shift from this activated state back into a parasympathetic (relaxed) state despite the cold stress.
This practice strengthens the body's ability to regulate its stress response system and builds both physical and emotional resilience. Additionally, cold exposure activates brown fat tissue and promotes mitochondrial efficiency, leading to metabolic benefits.

Backed by science
Research published in environmental medicine and neuroscience journals has demonstrated multiple physiological benefits of cold exposure.
Studies have shown that regular cold immersion can increase norepinephrine levels by up to 530% and dopamine by 250%, improving mood and focus. Clinical research has also documented enhanced mitochondrial function, reduced inflammation markers, and improved immune response following cold exposure protocols.
The practice has been shown to have significant effects on both physiological and psychological resilience.

Benefits of Cold Thermogenesis
Cold exposure therapy has shown promise in:
- Enhanced nervous system regulation
- Improved stress resilience
- Increased metabolic rate and fat burning
- Reduced inflammation
- Strengthened immune function
- Improved mood and mental clarity
- Enhanced recovery from exercise
- Increased energy and vitality
- Better sleep quality
- Heightened emotional regulation
Integration with other modalities
Cold Thermogenesis is most effective when combined with other approaches to nervous system regulation. We integrate neurofeedback with various other modalities to create a comprehensive approach to mental and physical wellbeing.

Sympathetic Dominance Protocol
A psychosomatic stress reduction method that combines various modalities to identify and remove emotional blocks that express as physical symptoms.

PEMF & Infrared
Muscle relaxation, improved circulation and ion transportation to stimulate the body's natural recovery process.

Photobiomodulation
Red light and Near Infrared Light of specific wavelengths interact with the mitochondria to boost ATP production (more energy).

Cold Thermogenesis
Nervous system regulation training and helps to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and improve immune function.

Gut Healing Protocol
Reduce harmful bacteria and parasites, heal the gut lining and encourage growth of beneficial bacteria to boost the immune system and gut-brain connection.

Anti-Inflammatory Diet
A diet and supplement protocol designed to reduce inflammation, reverse deficiencies and boost neurotransmitter production.

Heart Rate Variability Training
Up-train the parasympathetic state to lower the baseline of stress, reduce overwhelm and enhance recovery and emotional regulation.

Bodywork
Boost parasympathetic response, reduce tension, improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Art & Cooking Classes
Encouraging creativity, authenticity and play. Classes include painting, macrame, chocolate-making and a Mexican cooking class.

Breathwork
Breathwork can elicit the parasympathetic nervous system response and, in some cases, euphoric or insightful experiences.

Drop-in therapy
Bite-sized sessions with a certified mental health professional to practice emotional processing as the opportunities arise.

Functional Movement
With resistance to improve muscle tone and coordination, mitochondrial function and neurotransmitter production.

Nature therapy
The healing effects of nature; grounding and negative ions from waterfalls, beaches, jungle with low-impact, endurance exercise.

QEEG & Neurofeedback
Brain mapping to measure and assess electrical activity, followed by directed Neurofeedback to improve brain function.

Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)
Restore the body's natural mechanism for releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.

YOGA & Working-in
Integrate mind, body and energy, improve mood, reduce stress and build strength, flexibility and balance.

Compression Suit
To improve circulation and lymphatic drainage to get rid of cellular waste and enhance regeneration.

Temazcal
An ancient Mesoamerican ritual using heat, steam, herbs and chanting for purification of the mind and body.
