Temazcal (Traditional Sweat Lodge)
Temazcal is an ancient Mesoamerican healing ceremony that combines heat therapy, aromatherapy, and mindfulness in a traditional clay/stone dome structure. This sacred ritual provides a unique opportunity for physical detoxification and emotional release while honoring indigenous wisdom and healing practices.

How does it work?
Inside the Temazcal, heated volcanic rocks are placed in the center and doused with water infused with medicinal herbs, creating therapeutic steam.
As temperatures rise to over 100°F (38°C), participants move through four ceremonial "doors" or rounds, each representing different elements (earth, fire, wind, and water). The combination of heat exposure, guided breathwork, and ceremonial practices creates an environment for deep physical purification and emotional release.
The ceremony is led by a trained guide who facilitates the experience through traditional songs, spoken word, and prayer.
