Photobiomodulation (Red Light Therapy)
Photobiomodulation is an advanced light therapy that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular energy production and healing. This non-invasive treatment optimizes cellular function by targeting mitochondria - the powerhouses of your cells - to enhance energy production and promote overall wellness.

How does it work?
When specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light (between 630nm and 850nm) penetrate the skin, they are absorbed by photoreceptors in your cells' mitochondria.
This interaction triggers increased production of ATP (cellular energy) and activates various cellular healing mechanisms.
The therapy enhances mitochondrial function by improving cytochrome c oxidase activity, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting cellular repair through the activation of the Nrf2 pathway - a key regulator of cellular protection and healing responses.

Backed by science
Research studies have demonstrated significant benefits of photobiomodulation across multiple applications.
Clinical trials published in Photomedicine and Laser Surgery have shown improvements in cellular energy production by up to 200%.
Studies in the Journal of Inflammation have documented reduced inflammatory markers following treatment. Additional research has demonstrated enhanced muscle recovery, improved cognitive function, and accelerated wound healing through consistent photobiomodulation therapy.

Applications of Photobiomodulation
Red light therapy has shown promise in:
- Enhanced mitochondrial function
- Accelerated muscle recovery and repair
- Improved skin health and collagen production
- Reduced inflammation and oxidative stress
- Better cognitive performance and brain function
- Enhanced athletic performance
- Improved cellular energy production
- Support for mood and mental clarity
- Accelerated wound healing
- Reduced joint pain and inflammation
Integration with other modalities
Photobiomodulation is most effective when combined with other approaches to nervous system regulation. We integrate neurofeedback with various other modalities to create a comprehensive approach to mental and physical wellbeing.

Sympathetic Dominance Protocol
A psychosomatic stress reduction method that combines various modalities to identify and remove emotional blocks that express as physical symptoms.

PEMF & Infrared
Muscle relaxation, improved circulation and ion transportation to stimulate the body's natural recovery process.

Photobiomodulation
Red light and Near Infrared Light of specific wavelengths interact with the mitochondria to boost ATP production (more energy).

Cold Thermogenesis
Nervous system regulation training and helps to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and improve immune function.

Gut Healing Protocol
Reduce harmful bacteria and parasites, heal the gut lining and encourage growth of beneficial bacteria to boost the immune system and gut-brain connection.

Anti-Inflammatory Diet
A diet and supplement protocol designed to reduce inflammation, reverse deficiencies and boost neurotransmitter production.

Heart Rate Variability Training
Up-train the parasympathetic state to lower the baseline of stress, reduce overwhelm and enhance recovery and emotional regulation.

Bodywork
Boost parasympathetic response, reduce tension, improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Art & Cooking Classes
Encouraging creativity, authenticity and play. Classes include painting, macrame, chocolate-making and a Mexican cooking class.

Breathwork
Breathwork can elicit the parasympathetic nervous system response and, in some cases, euphoric or insightful experiences.

Drop-in therapy
Bite-sized sessions with a certified mental health professional to practice emotional processing as the opportunities arise.

Functional Movement
With resistance to improve muscle tone and coordination, mitochondrial function and neurotransmitter production.

Nature therapy
The healing effects of nature; grounding and negative ions from waterfalls, beaches, jungle with low-impact, endurance exercise.

QEEG & Neurofeedback
Brain mapping to measure and assess electrical activity, followed by directed Neurofeedback to improve brain function.

Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)
Restore the body's natural mechanism for releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.

YOGA & Working-in
Integrate mind, body and energy, improve mood, reduce stress and build strength, flexibility and balance.

Compression Suit
To improve circulation and lymphatic drainage to get rid of cellular waste and enhance regeneration.

Temazcal
An ancient Mesoamerican ritual using heat, steam, herbs and chanting for purification of the mind and body.
